Anders Ruff Makes Party Planning a Breeze

Maureen (Anders) and Adria (Ruff) first met in Fort Mill, South Carolina just south of Charlotte in 2010 at a preschool open house. Soon they realized they had a lot in common. They both shared a love for all things paper, parties, design and art. Their friendship quickly grew and soon they decided to combine their gifts as designers and stylists.

Anders Ruff Custom Designs is an online business that specializes in stylish printable invitations, decor and party accessories. Their designs are unique and modern to help any hostess pull off a beautiful event with style and grace. Their blog also offers inspiration for planning birthday parties, weddings, bridal and baby showers and other holiday celebrations.

Maureen Anders – Born into Style

Creative Director Maureen, the child of two interior designers, was born into amazing style. As a little girl, she had a paper obsession. With an Engineering Degree from the University of Michigan, she began working as a successful Sales Account Manager for GE Healthcare. But after the first of her two sons was born, she decided to leave behind the stressful life of traveling sales.

Maureen’s creative background and sharp attention to detail, along with her childhood love of paper, inspired her to start a handmade invitation business – Posh Papier. Her work was recognized in House Beautiful and Lonny Magazine. But Maureen longed for a partner to collaborate with. The day she met Adria, her dream became true.

Adria Ruff – Graphic Designer Extraordinaire

Adria had a B.A. from Auburn University, having studied Fashion Merchandising, Design & Product Management. After working in the corporate children’s fashion world, Adria decided to start a home-based business in photography to be with her two young daughters. Like Maureen, she too had begun designing custom invitations.

Anders Ruff’s main focus is designing unique, eye-catching printable graphics that can be used by moms, events planners and clients around the world. They customize the artwork to each client’s needs, so they can print just the right amount for their event. Anders Ruff excels at creating party concepts, as captured in their photoshoots. Their work is similar to what magazines do when they showcase products and themes in print. They show clients how to create themes, coordinating recipes along with printables to match.

Glamping with ABC’s The Bachelorette

With over 40,000 Facebook fans and over 18,000 Pinterest followers, their designs are all over the web. They have been featured in Southern Living, Vanity Fair and Better Homes & Gardens and have received tons of great press. Their favorite party to plan was the “Glam Camping” party for the daughter of Emily Maynard (from ABC’s The Bachelorette). “It was so much fun to plan a girlie party that was outside the box,” says Maureen. “Emily was so sweet to work with and we were huge fans, so it was great!”

Another client they have partnered with is Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Recently, they put together an adorable “Swan Princess Party” and a fun “One Direction: This is Us Movie View Party”.

Nashville Wraps Makes Party Packaging Fun!

“We couldn’t do what we do without the awesome packaging products from Nashville Wraps,” explains Maureen. “From the cello bags, tissue paper, twine, raffia and favor boxes, we almost always find ways to incorporate Nashville Wraps products into our photo shoots.
