If you’ve ever traveled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee to visit the Smokey Mountains, you may have passed The Incredible Christmas Place and The Inn at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge. It’s hard to miss “The South’s Largest Christmas Store” with its breathtaking Bavarian-style shops and hotel. You truly feel like you’re in a European village.
In 1986 Hurshel and Marian Biggs opened Christmas Place, and it has become one of the top ten Christmas stores in the US. Since that time, it has grown into a multi-store shopping complex in the foothills of the Smokies with over 43,000 square feet of Christmas fun at every turn. The store is truly a delight for both children and adults.
The Inn at Christmas Place
The Inn at Christmas Place opened across the street in 2007. With 145 lavishly-decorated, two- and three-room suites, the hotel celebrates Christmas year-round. It was voted #15 in 2014 Travelers’ Choice Best Hotels in America by Trip Advisor. They even have a singing Santa who is available for photos and singing with the kids.
