Most of the holiday décor was designed by Nashville Wraps customer Rafanelli Events with the guidance of First Lady Michelle Obama. With the help of 125 volunteers from across America, the “People’s House” was transformed into a Christmas spectacular for young and old to enjoy. Nashville Wraps’ adorable, made in the USA and eco-friendly Woodland Snowman Bags were used to carry gifts for the children {shown in the photo above with the children and Mrs. Obama}.
Honoring America’s Military Families
HGTV aired their annual White House Christmas special with host Egypt Sherrod. She took visitors on a tour showing how they had decorated the White House with over 65,000 ornaments. This year’s theme honored our service men and women along with veterans for their gifts of service. Gold Star ornaments adorned the trees to remember the sacrifices of those who have laid down their lives for our country. The official White House Christmas tree is a 19 foot Douglas Fir donated by a Pennsylvania tree farm.
The First Dogs – Bo & Sunny
Giant replicas of the first family’s dogs, Sunny and Bo, greet adoring fans as guests enter the East Hallway. They are made from more than 25,000 yarn pom-poms! Gifts for the first dogs were decorated with Nashville Wraps paw print packaging and nested boxes.
Decking the Halls!
Another fun idea used was decking the halls with 800+ glossy red bows of various sizes. It’s truly a breathtaking sight that you have to see up close to appreciate.
