The moment you step foot into owner Jenna Rummel’s shop, you are overwhelmed with so much beauty your eyes can hardly take it all in! Jenna mixes cottage-style in her handmade furniture and home accessories store with a touch of farmhouse and French country.
If You Build It, They Will Come
With customers visiting from a 50-mile radius of Nashville and even more online, Jenna explains her exciting journey into becoming one of Nashville’s top destinations for all things home decor. “Chic Artique’s story began five years ago when we started building furniture in our garage. My husband, Jonathan made a few pieces of furniture to sell in a 10’x15′ booth located in downtown Gallatin to show our son teenage son the potential of small business.
“Jonathan taught our son Xander to build with creative style and excellent craftsmanship – two necessary components of business success. The business flourished, and so we expanded to a 350-square-foot storefront in a salon.
It wasn’t long before we needed a larger space. That’s when we found our current 1700- square-foot storefront on Main Street in Goodlettsville.”
Wrapping Up Farmhouse Chic
Jenna has curated such an exquisite collection of high-quality home decor pieces that you cannot find in another store in Nashville. She and her husband add just a hint of rustic to make men fall in love with their furniture as well. Jenna’s sense of style, design and tremendous gift of displaying her merchandise makes you want to stay in her store all day just to see everything.
Thanks to the support of the Nashville community and the popularity of cottage and farmhouse decor, two years ago Chic Artique expanded their space into the location next door, which doubled their showroom to 3500 square feet.
She offers free gift wrapping and is currently using Nashville Wraps Farmhouse Favorites Collection mixed with brown shopping bags, gift tags raffia ribbon. During the holidays, she uses our Christmas designs.
Jenna loves Nashville Wraps and the fact that we are a local company with a great selection of gift packaging and fast shipping. “Our customers always comment on how pretty the gift bags look. We send them out the door with a beautifully-wrapped gift ready to give for any special occasion.”
A True Family Business
Currently, the store is all decked out with spring florals and treasures everywhere. It’s truly breathtaking! What makes Chic Artique unique is that their variety changes with each season. They also offer one-of-a-kind furniture, like their handmade headboards with reading lights attached on a dimmer and USB ports, along with their charming farm tables. These items continue to be their best sellers. In addition, they have hundreds of accessories full of Southern charm and wit, along with lamps and bedding options to fully decorate your home in today’s most sought-after style.
All of their furniture is built by several craftsmen in their wood shop in Hendersonville – the same city Nashville Wraps is located. Their son Xander continues to work with the family business when he is home from college along with their young daughter Gracie. Jenna says, “When you visit our store, Gracie may ring you up at the cash register or give you instructions for our Southern Honey Chalk Paint.”
