If you ever have a chance to visit the Nashville Wraps headquarters in Hendersonville, TN, one of the stops along a tour would certainly be our catalog wall. There, we have framed the covers of all our catalogs back to about 1980. It is an interesting progression and you can see where we morphed from a small paper distributor to a full-fledged design house and total retail packaging solutions provider.
While I was looking over some of our sales materials dating back to 1999, I realized that today in 2015, most of the prices we are selling at are the same as or lower than what our prices were back in 1999! That says a lot about the power of the internet and our increases in buying power.
Back in 1999 we had about 50,000 square feet of distribution and warehouse space, while today we have around 215,000! I think what is also important for you to know is that we are planning on continued growth with more ingenious products and great prices!
I think it was Weird Al who had a parody song titled “Amish Paradise”. I remember a section of the lyrics that said “Let’s party like it’s 1699”. We aren’t 300 years behind but close! Point is, the more things change the more they stay the same. Maybe by the year 2315 our prices will be what they are in 2015.
