Ribbon Ties for Father’s Day

Try this easy necktie idea for dressing up a gift for Father’s Day (or any other occasion that calls for a masculine gift). It works best on a rectangular or tall gift. We’ve used our double face ribbon, but any of our great ribbon will work. We’ve used our Ticking Stripe gift wrap, but many of our classic designs work well, too.

You may already be a pro at tying a necktie; if not, the video below shows one way to do it. Wait until you finish tying your tie to cut the ends into a “V” shape – that way the edges won’t fray. Use very sharp scissors meant for fabric.

For a square-shaped gift, you might try a bowtie instead.
